On Thursday, January 28th, the legendary Baselline Recording Studios closed its doors for the last time. Before it officially shut down, a tour was given by Just Blaze, the man behind the boards since 2003, when Jay-z and Juan Perez handed it over to him. Check out more pics and info here...

Just Blaze spent 11 years behind the mixing board at Baseline helping put together hits for some of the top artists in the industry. Of course many albums from the Roc-a-fella camp where produced at the recording studio but tracks for Usher's Confessions, The Game's The Documentary, and Missy Elliott's Miss E...So Addictive were also recorded at the studio, among many others.

The Billboard certified number one single for June 15, 2002-June 22, 2002 "Oh Boy" was recorded at Baseline recorded by Cam'ron and Juelz Santana.

The studio was located at 127 W. 26th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues.
