What is a mogul? Webster's definition defines it as: 'An individual who has been very successful in business and has become very wealthy as a result'. Rihanna may not be the first artist/entertainer that comes to mind, but she definitely fits the criteria. Arguably one of the top 5 women in the world, albeit music or generally speaking, you cannot refute her A-List status. Since its inception, Rihanna's career has blossomed, and with her newest venture, Rihanna seeks to put herself in a rare category. Quite possible you may be able to catch her on the Forbes' List, and not just for being an artist. The Bajan musician, Hip Hop/R & B/Pop princess will executive produce andstar in her own Project Runway inspired series for Sky Living H.D. in the U.K.
Widely regarded for her edgy style, and versatility, who better than Rihanna to be the authority in this instance. In her capacity she will search Britain over for the next star in fashion designing, with Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts serving as the host.
In concept, throughout the 10 weeks the contestants will be challenged to create designs for musicians and celebrities. The final test will be dressing Rihanna for her performance in Hyde Park in July. The show is as yet untitled, and will debut this summer.

After being spotted courtside recently with Interscope Chairman Jimmy Iovine, the rumor mill was buzzing about the future home for Iggy Azalea. You should not be surprised that there has been a major bidding war for the Australian songwriter/rapper in recent weeks, nor should you be shocked by her final decision. After reports of her being headed to Def Jam after dining with label heads and Rihanna, the Aussie Blonde Bombshell took to twitter to annouce: “Interscope, if you were wondering, Get used to me + jimmy [iovine] smashing shit, cause thats the plan.” CONFIRMED.

Is there anything that Lil Wayne cannot do? That is a valid question that I am beginning to ask myself. I have been a fan of the entire Cash Money Records Movement since the Cutlass, Monte Carlos and Regals days. To clarify, we're talking the mid 90s. That predates the label's evolution which has seen CMB become arguably the most powerful record label in the world. I often think of the fact that I nor anyone else, outside of CMB can honestly testify to imagining Wayne's catapult to definitively being TOP 5 DEAD OR ALIVE, as an artist that is. My opinion is not just based on lyrics alone; he has progressed from the sidekick, an after thought in the Hot Boyz rap group, to Stunting like His Daddy, to the series of Carter albums, up to Lil Wayne -President of Cash Money Records/CEO of Young Money Entertainment. Have you ever heard the term, meteoric rise? Well Wayne's ascension is the epitome of the word.
His latest venture substantiates his existence as a cultural icon; his impact and relevance transcends race, creed, or color. Lil Wayne is a brand! The conversation of whether or not he is better than certified G.O.A.T candidates Jay Z, Nas, and Eminem is senseless at this point. More than anything people should celebrate his creativity, his vision, his growth, and the longevity. Forget us not that Lil Wayne is a product of the golden era of rap- the 90s- when tours raked in millions, as well as album sales. The "Good Ol days" some might say.
Well for visionairies like Lil Wayne, days are always good. 'Why?" you might ask, because the payoff for their hustle makes it so. With TrukFit clothing, Lil Wayne is embarking on a new sector of Hip Hop culture- Fashion. This past weekend Lil Wayne unveiled items for his skateboard inspired brand which will official debut at the Agenda Tradeshow in New York City this coming 23rd through 25th of January. With its motto, "Respect few, fear None" there should be little doubt that this venture too will take off and add some more zeros to the YMCMB Empire.
As of now, the line is to include T-shirts, hats, and other skateboarding apparel accessories. No official information has been given as it pertains to retail stores, and purchasing outlets. For more details on TrukFit the brand, visit: www.trukfit.com

Give yourself a facial
A facial cleans, exfoliates and nourishes the skin to promote clear, well-hydrated skin. Also, it is the most important step to having healthy and beautiful skin, especially during the winter months. Enjoy these suggestions for your next at-home spa day!
Start by washing your face to rid any dirt and oil, and then go over it with a toner like Kiehl’s Tea Tree Oil Toner to boost hydration and balance out your skin. While your skin is still damp from the toner, rub a gentle exfoliator like Ahava Facial Mud Exfoliator onto your T-zone and cheeks (where oil often gushes!). Rinse and pat dry.
Next, (for the true spa effect) use a spatula or paint brush to apply a face mask.(It’s important to include the neck and décolletage too because they’re a dead giveaway of your real age.) For a super moisturizing face mask, try mixing oatmeal with honey and leaving it on your skin for about 20 minutes. If you have oily skin, opt for something more cooling like Greek yogurt mashed together with strawberries. Of course, your favorite face mask in a bottle works too! Remove your mask with warm water and pat dry. Reapply your toner and finish with a moisturizer.
(Don’t forget there are ALWAYS “Do It Yourself” ways in makeup!)

As if there weren't enough surprises in the industry in the last few weeks, it has been announced that French Montana has officially signed to P. Diddy’s label Bad Boy. After much debate on whether or not the rapper would sign to Young Money or Maybach Music, the rapper has gone with the New York prince himself, Sean “Puffy” Combs.

Spotlight Feature

Sometimes, it must fall upon the journalist to ensure that what they are hearing in an interview is clear enough that they can truthfully and accurately present their subject's words as quotations. This may require asking for an answer repeatedly, admitting you missed something that could have been important, or actively picking and choosing which quotes should be completely captured in a form of verbal triage. Other times, it may simply require asking the subject to slow down because your cell phone's speaker is woefully inadequate. Such was the case with Kirko Bangz, and regrettably, I did not follow the advice laid out above. The following is what I can transcribe from my conversation with the Houston hopeful, whose Drake on promethazine approach has been reverberating within the scene.
