Detroit, MI home of Motown records and the Detroit Lions, was founded in 1701 and later became the capital of Michigan, before eventually giving the title up to Lansing, MI. Detroit is an urban city field with different attraction in the downtown area. Planning a visit here will be worth the tour when you check out some of the best restaurants in town. Including, Beans and Cornbread, a soul food restaurant, Lola’s, where there is both food and entertainment and the historic Whitney Mansion, which is now a hotel and dining place. The Whitney also has a club on the third floor, The Whitney Ghost bar.

Although D.C. is not officially considered a state, it still has plenty of great benefits. This is the place where a great majority of our laws are passed, but D.C. not only has historical influence, it has cultural influence as well.
