Los Angeles, California is one of a kind. Upon visiting, the first thing you notice is the sunshine and the many pieces of the proverbial West Coast puzzle that fit nicely with the state. Los Angeles, California, known for its oranges, weather, and attractions is one of the most fascinating cities in the United States.

Thinking about Los Angeles just makes me smile. Whether it's visiting Disneyland, which houses over twelve roller coasters, or taking a walk down the Third Street Promenade, there is something Los Angeles has that not too many cities possess that is truly remarkable. Life in the fast lane is the phrase that comes to mind when thinking about Los Angeles. The fast paced city boasts everything from clubs to music legends to swaying palm trees amidst its many neighborhoods and communities.

The food in Los Angeles is unmatched. When visiting, be sure to check out El Pollo Loco, a grilled chicken restaurant that gives a different perspective on fast food or The Stinking Rose, an all garlic extravaganza where even the ice cream is perfected with the spice. The multicultural restaurants are what make up the food industry in Los Angeles.

Parlé MagazineLos Angeles' history is one of settlements and missions. First settled by the Tongva and Chumash Native American tribes in the mid fourteenth century, Los Angeles has become well known for its Hispanic culture. Los Angeles' historic district, Olvera Street celebrates this culture and is worth a visit.

Known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Los Angeles encompasses Hollywood, The Los Angeles Times and a few other noteworthy newspapers catering to Armenian, Korean and Russian clientele, the Hollywood Bowl, the Capitol Records building and Grauman's Chinese Theater just to name a few. With its many entertainment landmarks, there is always somewhere to visit or something to do.

Los Angeles is a large city with vast diversity and history. The city is both urbane and unmatched in its night life and attractions. Los Angeles offers a lot for the lover of big cities and will leave you wanting to come back time and time again.

I like! Its a great article but I wanted more, though this is only an introduction so maybe there will be more! flying into the city at night the highways have always reminded me of rivers of melted gold. The city itself is so.. uniquely itself, seemingly made of different cultures all thrown into one city, the food in Thai Town and the breakfast at Doughboys, hiking in Griffith Park where you get a great view of city and going for a walk in the UCLA area.

Rising Star ... The Kirko Bangz Interview

Sometimes, it must fall upon the journalist to ensure that what they are hearing in an interview is clear enough that they can truthfully and accurately present their subject's words as quotations. This may require asking for an answer repeatedly, admitting you missed something that could have been important, or actively picking and choosing which quotes should be completely captured in a form of verbal triage. Other times, it may simply require asking the subject to slow down because your cell phone's speaker is woefully inadequate. Such was the case with Kirko Bangz, and regrettably, I did not follow the advice laid out above. The following is what I can transcribe from my conversation with the Houston hopeful, whose Drake on promethazine approach has been reverberating within the scene.
