You have to love a Tyler Perry movie, if for no other reason because it’s the only way you can see an entire movie full of familiar faces (if you know what I mean) these days. His latest feature is the unnecessary sequel to Why Did I Get Married? from a couple years ago. There were no real cliffhangers from the last movie so you knew there would be enough drama to keep you interested this time around. With Janet Jackson, Tasha Smith, Malik Yoba, Jill Scott and Tyler Perry all returning to reprise their roles as well as the other main stars, the movie turned out to be a comedic, emotional journey, the way Tyler Perry does it best.

This film has been in theaters for a few weeks now, but it hasn't been receiving a lot of publicity so I believe a review is still in order. One of the only romantic comedies in theaters currently, Our Family Wedding is the perfect date movie complete with laughs and plenty to relate to and enjoy for Blacks and Hispanics.

Hidden among a line of brownstones on Harlem's 120th Street, just across the street from a large park, is a hidden gem for out-of-towners and city residents looking for refuge. The Harlem Bed and Breakfast was a big surprise to me, considering I've been a part time resident of Harlem for the past 6 years—part time because I live in Brooklyn, but worked in Harlem. In fact, I was surprised that there were any B-n-B's in this city since I'd never run into any, but to my surprise, there are many.
