What is a mogul? Webster's definition defines it as:  'An individual who has been very successful in business and has become very wealthy as a result'.  Rihanna may not be the first artist/entertainer that comes to mind, but she definitely fits the criteria. Arguably one of the top 5 women in the world, albeit music or generally speaking, you cannot refute her A-List status.  Since its inception, Rihanna's career has blossomed, and with her newest venture, Rihanna seeks to put herself in a rare category. Quite possible you may be able to catch her on the Forbes' List, and not just for being an artist.  The Bajan musician, Hip Hop/R & B/Pop princess will executive produce andstar in her own Project Runway inspired series for Sky Living H.D. in the U.K.
Widely regarded for her edgy style, and versatility, who better than Rihanna to be the authority in this instance. In her capacity she will search Britain over for the next star in fashion designing, with Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts serving as the host.
In concept, throughout the 10 weeks the contestants will be challenged to create designs for musicians and celebrities. The final test will be dressing Rihanna for her performance in Hyde Park in July. The show is as yet untitled, and will debut this summer.

After being spotted courtside recently with Interscope Chairman Jimmy Iovine, the rumor mill was buzzing about the future home for Iggy Azalea. You should not be surprised that there has been a major bidding war for the Australian songwriter/rapper in recent weeks, nor should you be shocked by her final decision.   After reports of her being headed to Def Jam after dining with label heads and Rihanna, the Aussie Blonde Bombshell took to twitter to annouce: “Interscope, if you were wondering, Get used to me + jimmy [iovine] smashing shit, cause thats the plan.”  CONFIRMED.

relationships

Question: My partner and I generally have a good relationship and I think we have a future together. However, over time our disagreements have turned into arguments and our arguments are often hurtful. I think that going to counseling would help but I'm afraid  my partner won't receive the suggestion well. Without intervention, I am afraid that our relationship won't survive.

Starring Hollywood veterans Terrence Howard as Col. A.J. Bullard and Cuba Gooding Jr. as Major Emanuel Stance, alongside rising stars Nate Parker as Martin "Easy" Julian and David Oyelowo as Joe "Lightning" Little, the movie shows in its opening image the air squadron flying what is supposed to be a relatively low-key patrol over a serene Italian countryside. Led by their unflappable flight leader, Easy, they try to maintain a sense of dignity despite being relegated to what is considered mop-up duty in a war where white servicemen were assigned the most honorable missions and were recognized as the only real heroes.
During the errand run, the Red Tails (the name referred to the color of the tails on their planes) come across a moving train that appears to be carrying civilian cargo, only to realize that it's a heavily armed German convoy equipped with troops and artillery. Easy cautions the team to approach with prudence. But Lightning, the talented yet rebellious, hot-tempered pilot of the bunch, decides to engage the enemy in spite of Easy's orders and wages a vaunted assault on the German train, a battle that puts the Tails at risk and leaves viewers on the edge of their seats.
For its entertainment value, the movie appeals to a wide range of moviegoers. From history lovers to war-film fanatics, Red Tails will likely satisfy the appetite of anyone who enjoys a fast-moving adventure. More meaningfully, Red Tails is a film that reflects a critical juncture in African-American history.
The story of the Tuskegee Airmen is one of sheer bravery and humanity, yet it's a narrative that almost never has been told because of Hollywood's unwillingness to promote big-budget black films with a predominantly black cast. Lucas began developing the movie in 1988 and tried to produce it in 1992. But it wasn't until nearly two decades later, after almost all of the established production companies passed on the project, that he decided to fund it himself and turn the film into a reality.
Opening nationwide on Jan. 20, Lucas' cinematic version of the Tuskegee Airmen's real-life experiences is but a CliffsNotes version of the real thing. But hopefully, the film will pry open the channels of discourse that will empower more African Americans' stories to be told in ways that aren't diminishing or compromising.
As with the journeys of all other black soldiers before them in all of the wars in which America has been a part, the harrowing story of the Red Tails is about African Americans overcoming injustice by upholding democracy, despite their realities as second-class citizens in America.
They were heroes not because they were finally recognized with Medals of Honor decades after they sacrificed their lives for America but because they prevailed over an enemy both in the sky and on land at home. But through it all, as Parker's character aptly shouts before the film's final battle: "From the last plane, to the last bullet, to the last man, we fight."
And they won every time.

You're Too Dumb To Cheat... Here's Why

Written by Nikki True
Oh what a tangled web we weave, when we try to deceive. In today's society we live by the more is better attitude. More food, more technology, and yes more relationships. For some men one is never enough. They may have a great woman at home but still have to see what else is out there. While I don't condone cheating I will say most men are too dumb to have a "I won't get caught" plan to cheat in the first place. I know you're reading this saying "Not me, my game is tight"...hmmm let me challenge that. I'm going to tell YOU why you're too dumb to cheat!
Some people are good at lying. They go on to become lawyers or do PR for the Kardashian family. You on the other hand can not get away with anything.
You're a horrible liar! You never have your story straight. You say you're going to go play some hoops with your guys and will be back around eight, you stroll in at 11 and when she asks "where have you been?", you say "UHHHH WELL". Stop! You're busted! Some people are good at lying. They go on to become lawyers or do PR for the Kardashian family. You on the other hand can not get away with anything. To cheat you must have a plan B, C and D. Yet your plan A has more holes in it than swiss cheese. And, you don't make sure everyone is in on your story. Nothing is more embarrassing than your girl calling your friends asking when the game was over and they say "what game"? Unless you can convince a jury that the glove doesn't fit, you shouldn't cheat.
You treat your jumpoff like a wife! In a cheating situation the other woman shouldn't have much say in what you do, where you go, or who is involved once you leave her sight. Yet many men treat their other woman like she is the only woman. When you don't define the roles within the affair things will get out of hand. Soon she is telling you not to sleep with your girl, what friends she hates, and then some. She might eventually call your girl, then you will be in a world of 'hella trouble! I'm not saying to mistreat your other woman, but you need to set boundaries and guidelines within the cheating. If she knows more than two of your friends you are not cut out for cheating. If she knows where you live you are horrible at cheating! You must keep your distance and certain feelings at bay. If you wear your heart on your sleeve with every woman you come in contact with then please go home to your girl and declare monogamy!
An exposed affair is one inbox message away....it's best you put that cheating energy into working out your relationship and making it stronger.Cheating isn't for the stupid, weak, or faint of heart. You have to strategically plan and perfectly execute your every move to make your game full proof. It's not like back in the day when men had whole families on the other side of town. Big Mama didn't have facebook and GPS to catch pops slipping. Now an exposed affair is one inbox message away. Add-on the 2 factors I mentioned and it's best you put that cheating energy into working out your relationship and making it stronger. I bet if you actually talked to your girl about the things that are making you want to stray she will try to work on them. So I say this in love...YOU'RE TOO STUPID TO CHEAT! STAY FAITHFUL!

What SOPA means for the internet?

Say “Bye Bye” to Google, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook , craigslist, and all the sites that you interact with your friends on, retain your social gossip from, and have fun with. SOPA the act to stop online piracy has many young people, and adults infuriated because its paying may mean the end to all those sites.
The act aims to limit, if not completely hault the access to sites that provide information they do not have the rights too.  Although the act has good intentions, many believe that the way it is written will cause a downfall for not only site owners, but bloggers, rappers, singers, designers, and everyone else who uses the internet as a main source of income or publicity.
Congress believes that this act will help balance and control the amount of copyright infringement on the internet. People against the act think that this is just another way for the government to control us, as a whole. Many are going as far as saying that we no longer live in a democracy, and we no longer have a president.  Those people are saying that if SOPA is passed, we can refer to our president as “King Obama.”
Since the announcement of the act , congress has lost a few supporters due to the very public protest of sites such as Google, and Wikipedia.  What are your thoughts on the act?

The Unstoppable Dream Chase - Our Meek Mill interview
Parlé Magazine:  You had an amazing year in 2011 and it looks like it’s going to be very bright for you in 2012, what can fans expect from you this year?
Meek Mill:  I'm just getting warmed up, getting my name out in the streets. Hopefully I'll be putting out the best music of 2012. I'm one of the hottest, newest artists out in the street, I'm trying to keep that name up, hold it up at its best.
Parlé:  You started your career as part of a group, a lot of people don’t know that.  How’d you get to this point though?
I was in a group, BloodHoundz, me and my little homies from around the way. But we all started getting locked up and everyone started going their different ways. We still hung with each other doing different things at different times. I ended up branching out by myself cause one of us might be locked up—its hard managing a group in the streets.
When you first got you, you were signed to Grand Hustle.  How’d you hook up with T.I.?
One of my old managers, he was cool with Tip. Tip was willing to work with me but I was getting locked up, Tip was getting locked up so we never really got a chance to go all the way in with what we were trying to do.
Speaking up getting locked up, it's clear that you were locked up a number of times, but it's not so clear what you were getting locked up for.
Everything. Everything that someone in the streets would get locked up for.
(Laughs). Okay. And you're still on probation now?
Yeah. I'm about to get off though, soon.
How'd you end up as a member of Maybach Music?
Running into Ross on the road or rocking shows with Ross, he might be the headliner and he would stand around and watch me rock a show. Ross was on twitter one time and he was like, "Philly Wat Up". I hit him up like, "Yeah Ross, wat up?  Why don't you get on this "Rozay Red" remix."  It got about 20,000 retweets, everybody ended up supporting the movement, he saw the support, and he ended up doing the song.
Okay.  And last year you had the song "Tupac Back," how'd that come about.  Considering that you're from Philly, some might wonder why not a tribute to B.I.G.?
I didn't even make that hook, Ross made that hook. It just wasn't a Biggie type of beat, it was a Pac type of beat. I'm a young street rapper, he felt I could represent the song right, so I just spit over it and represented.
"I'ma Boss", let's talk about that record. Did Ross come up with that hook as well?
Naw, after my first meeting with Ross he told me, "Come back with something, let me know, I want to get on something."  Went home, thought Rick Ross, got the right beat, brung the hook to him, he laid down his verse and the adlibs and that was that.
That whole creative process for that first album with you guys, how was it?  I know you just said you brought that track back to him, but with you all being in different areas, did ya'll all get together in a room...
We did a lot of them together in a room, "Play Your Part", "Pandemonium", we did a lot of songs in a room, but you know Ross be on the road, I be on the road, Wale be on road. We really don't have no choice but to email sometimes.
I know people that have been talking about Meek for years. What can you tell people about your hustle over the last few years that got you to this point? Cause some people feel like you just stepped on the scene.
You can check on youtube, see me with the nappy braids at 15, going hard. Views are at 100, 200 thousand views and they didn't come from just now. I been grinding for a minute. People from Philly go to college with people from all over so it’s always gonna be people from your college talking about, "he's the shit".  But you know, I been grindin’ for a minute.  I actually been buzzing in my area for a minute—Phiily, Delaware, Jersey area.
You're only 24 now, the youngest out the crew, I just feel like your hustle is soo much more then people can even comprehend…
I'm actually going to put out a couple documentaries and DVDs to let people see what my life like, if you don't know. So it'll be coming soon if you don't know.
Parlé:  Let’s talk about this Dream Chasers mixtape which has been a really good look for you.  How’d you go about putting that together?
I wanted my first mixtape to have something to do with me. It's my first mixtape as a signed artist, I knew the whole world was going to hear it. It has something to do with me—my life, what I'm involved in, that's what I was doing at the time, so that's what made the most sense.
You got a lot of artists from Philly on the project, are you trying to develop that Philly movement again.?
Yeah, you know I'm from Philly so it would always be nice for some young cats to come behind me and make some money. That's why I always try to keep someone from Philly on my CD or something cause this where I came from.  Always gotta leave the door open so that someone else could make money.
Do you listen to music like that now? Are there any artist who's grind you appreciate that aren't part of the crew?
I don't really bump a lot of people.  I like Future, Drake, not too many people—Wayne, Tip. That's it really besides the team.
Before you drop the album, what do you want people to understand about Meek first and foremost.
I just want you to like my music. I try to understand the people, I make my music for the people to relate to me, no matter what environment they in.
Even XXL labeled you the "Street Dude" in their feature...
Uh huh, they probably labeled me the streets cause that's where I come from, but that's not all I'm about.
As far as what we can expect from Meek this year, even Ross came out "Hustlin' Hard", but then he had to smooth it out on the R & B tip.  Can we expect that from you?
Of course, you gotta do that, you don't want to be performing in the grimiest spots of Detroit and Ohio cause you want to be hood. You gotta tune it down if you want to make money. Cause the streets ain't gonna feed you all the time. Streets ain't gonna give you no three time Platinum album or anything like that.
How did you use the internet to boost the buzz?
The internet is the best thing popping, it's free promotion.  I tell people that, when young people ask what can I tell them. It's the best thing you can use, a free tool to get yourself out to the world at the click of a button.
How far are you along on the process for that debut album? Do you have a title yet?
Naw, no title yet. I really didn't even get the first session for my album yet. When I go to the studio and get involved with what type of songs I'm making, that's when I'll come up with titles.
Do you have plans for another mixtape before the album?
I don't ever have plans for a mixtape, I just do 'em from whatever music I have on the side.
Thanks for the time man.  Much continued success.

Meek Mill came into 2011 a relatively unknown name in Hip-Hop, but that changed quickly as the year began to take off.  He signed a deal with Maybach Music/Warner Bros., and Rick Ross became a mentor.  XXL added him to their list of Freshmen to look out for.  Then the hits came rolling in.  Coming into 2012 it seems his buzz is unstoppable.  We spoke to him recently about his journey, the music, Dream Chasers the mixtape and the future.  Here's the whole picture behind Meek Mill.
